I have been teaching at Bolingbrook High School in the English Department since 2007.  I graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from Western Michigan University. From there, I ventured to National-Louis University to obtain my high school teaching degree. I have since aquired two masters degrees: educational leadership and curriculum and instruction. 

I have taught all different levels of education which makes me a well-rounded teacher. I am an avid reader. My favorite books are typically WWI and WWII books; I enjoy both fiction and nonficiton and love history. I majored in writing in college, so I am well-versed in this area. I currently teach a junior class called American Studies. This is a combined English/History class. I am also a sponsor for our student-led newspaper The Raider Review.
