Hi, my name is Jennifer Murray, and I am the TLC (Teaching & Learning Coach) here at Tibbott.  Being a TLC is a fantastic job because it allows me to work with both the staff and students at JRT.

I have been in education for over twenty five years.  I began my career as an intermediate teacher in Naperville. This is currently my sixteenth year in Valley View School District, with the first fourteen of those years  spent as a 5th Grade Challenge Teacher. 

I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a concentration in reading, and a masters degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from Benedictine University.  I am definitely a lifelong learner, who most recently began taking Spanish classes at a local college.

Personally, I love to spend time with my husband and kids. Both of my children are currently in college. Anyone who knows me well, knows I am an animal lover.  I have a vizsla named Sydney who gets plenty of attention.  I also love to travel and see new places!
