Welcome to B. J. Ward Elementary School!  

I am your proud Principal.  Prior to becoming the Principal, I was the Assistant Principal at R.C. Hill for 6 years, I taught 1st grade for 7 years, middle school special education in our district for 3 years, was a teacher at an alternative school and was a paraprofessional for 1 year.  I look forward to a partnership with all parents, students, and staff as I believe teamwork makes a huge difference in each child's education.  

Please know that I hold high expectations for teaching and learning.  With that in mind, I am always open to feedback of what we can do to better to support all students.  It is a privilege and pleasure serving you and our students.
