Ms. Jodi Pearson

My name is Jodi Pearson, and I am the Math Intervention and Enrichment Coordinator for Irene King Elementary School.  I have been teaching since 1998, and always look forward to continuing to grow as educator.  I earned my bachelor's degree for Elementary Education through Western Illinois University in 1998.  I then continued my education and earned my Master's Degree through Saint Xavier University in 2003.  I have completed many graduate hours, and also hold a certification in Mathematics, (which allows me to teach math to Kindergarten - 9th Grade).  I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 5th grade in the past, but now am lucky enough to work with Kindergarten - 5th graders on an every day basis.  I have been working in the Valley View School District for over 20 years, and I still love learning along with my students.

I live in Channahon, Illinois which is about 20 miles south of the Romeoville area.  I have lived there for about 15 years and reside with my two children, along with our two dogs.  We enjoy doing many things together, and love traveling during the summer months.  I love to garden, ride my bike, and read whenever I can steal the time to do so.

I am happy to be a part of the Irene King Family, and look forward to working with the students and staff every day.  If you have any questions, comments, or concerns...please feel free to contact me at anytime.
