I am in my 14th year teaching music in Valley View School District. I teach at both Oak View and Independence Elementary Schools.  Prior to teaching in Bolingbrook, I taught high school vocal music in Texas and Missouri as well as one year of Middle School Choral Music.  For the years when my children were small I ran my own private piano and voice studio.  Outside of school, I have sung in and accompanied various community choirs, directed church choirs, and played and directed handbell choirs.  I also play keyboards and sing in my church's worship ministry. 

In addition I enjoy playing tennis, golf, and growing vegetables. I mostly enjoy spending time with my amazing husband, kids, and grandkids.
