Mr. Rick Rujawitz
In 1994, I began teaching in the Career and Technical Education Department at Romeoville High School. In the CTE Department, I have taught a variety of Business/Computer Classes. For the first 12 years of my teaching career at RHS, I coached Baseball and Football. In 2001, I received "SICA North Conference Coach of the Year" honors. In 2003, I became the Department Chair of Career and Technical Education. In 2009, the Humanities Department merged with CTE. Today I assume the position of CTE/Humanities Department Chair.
Prior to teaching, I graduated High School from Belleville Township High School West, located in Belleville, IL. Upon graduation, I attended Millikin University where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Business - Personnel Management. I continued my education and enrolled at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where I earned my Secondary Teaching Certificate. In 1999, I obtained my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology from Illinois Benedictine. In 2009, I obtained my Administrative (Type 75) Certificate from Concordia University.
