I have been a teacher for 11 years, this is my 7th year in the Valley View district. I have worked at Bolingbrook High School and Pioneer Elementary school in my time here. Having taught in a few different places I can say, without a doubt, that Bolingbrook is the best place in the world to teach.

I have a wife, we were married on June 30th 2012 so we just celebrated our five year anniversary this past summer. We have one daughter, Ruby, she will be two this December. The last member of my family is our dog, Mango, she will be five this December. She is a Yorkshire Terrier who has the attitude and bravery of a dog 10x her size.

As a family we enjoy going out to dinner. Our favorite foods are Italian, Mexican and Thai food. But, we will eat anything so long as it is DELICIOUS. We spend a lot of time outside; walking, hiking, and playing in parks. 

So, on top of being a pretty cool person with an even cooler family. I am also dedicated to teaching. I got my undegraduate degree from Illinois State. I also have two masters degrees. One from St. Xavier in Chicago, IL and the other from The University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. I attended an AP workshop for teachers this summer and have been anxious to start teaching this new course!

I hope that over the first few days of class you come with an open mind and ready to get to work. It is going to be a great year at BHS and I hope that along the way you have fun and (if we're lucky) you might just learn something too!
