Hi! My name is Jill Schwinger.  I am so excited to be teaching second grade this year! This will be my sixth year teaching at Oak View. My first year, I taught second and third grade supported education. The last four years, I co-taught second grade with Mrs. Pozzie and am so happy I get the opportunity to do it again! I graduated from Illinois State University in the Spring of 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in special education and an endorsement in Middle Level Language Arts. I am also in the process of getting my Masters in Behavior Analysis through Northern Illinois University.

I grew up in Woodridge, IL and attended Downers Grove South High School. I currently live in Woodridge, IL and have three dogs named Heidi, Jack  and Bella.  I am a licensed esthetician and work part-time at a salon/spa.  I love to read, swim, and spend time with my family and friends.

I am so excited to work with you all this year and am looking forward to a fun and successful school year!
