I earned my BA in English Education from Lewis University 2005, and my MA in Reading and Literacy from Benedictine University. I've been teaching since 2006.  I am also the sponsor of Poetry Club, and the co-sponsor of Empower.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy writing, reading, blogging, restoring furniture, crafting, photography, traveling, and spending time with my family.

I love teaching at Bolingbrook High School because the unique young people I am privileged to teach and engage every day have been the ones to enrich and rejeuvenate me on a daily basis.  I also work with the most amazing colleagues anyone could ask for.
