AM Homework Club

National Junior Honor Society (Invitation only)

National Junior Honor Society is a service organization, first and foremost. Students who are part of NJHS have high academic achievement, excellent behavior, and do their part to serve others. Activities include a food drive, clothing drive, Valentine's Day Candygrams, sponsoring a dance, and various service projects.
Scholastic Bowl (IESA Activity)
Scholastic Bowl is a fun, fast-paced academic competition for students. People who like Jeopardy, Trivial Pursuit, reading, and those who get joy out of increasing their knowledge often participate in this activity. In a match, two teams of five vie to answer the most questions quickly and correctly, using an electronic buzzer system. The questions cover a wide range of topics.

All students are welcome to participate in the Student Council. The Student Council fosters communication among students, faculty and administration and promotes civic participation and service for the benefit of our school and the greater community.

The Craft Club is for students in all grades who enjoy painting, drawing, and doing crafts. If you like being creative, then Craft Club is the club for you!

Any student in 6th, 7th or 8th grade may participate in a Beginning Band class. These classes last a full school year and are offered during the school day and after school. Students who are supported with a two-period Math Block in their schedule will not have Beginning Band during the regular school day, but may participate in an After-School Beginning Band class (This class is treated as an 11th period in the school day.) All Beginning Band classes perform together at the Winter Concert in December and the Spring Concert in May each year.Choir

Composed of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who share an interest in promoting theatre, Drama Club performs two plays during the school year: one in the fall and one in the spring.
