Jessica Storm

I have worked in the field of Special Education for 15 years, both within the Therapeutic Sector and Public School System.  During my years of service, I have worked as a Self-Contained teacher for students with severe disabilities, Autism and Emotional Disabilities, a Behavior Interventionist, an Instructional Coach and now your SRT Leader.  I am looking forward to meeting you and your son or daughter.  I am confident that together, we will build a plan that offers success for not only this school year, but many more to follow.

  • My name is Jessica Storm and I am one of the Student Resource Team Leaders (SRT Leaders) at Romeoville High School.  This year, I will be providing services and facilitating meetings for our Freshman class, the CARES Program, the Multi-Needs Program and all students with active 504 Accommodation Plans.

As your son or daughter's SRT Leader, I will be facilitating all of your IEP and Communication meetings for the school year.  All meetings are organized through Facilitied IEP/504.  During a facilitated IEP or 504 Meeting, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful meetings which provide a continuum of services for your son or daughter.  Each meeting is geared towards building a better understanding of how your son or daughter learns and what their unique needs are.  Your son or daughter's plan will include a matrix of services ranging from specific goals and/or accommodations for classroom and testing needs, as well as options for Related Services.  The goal of each facilitated meeting will be to create a plan and program that offers academic, social and emotional and functional success throughout the school year.  As your SRT Leader this year, I can assure you that I will do my absolute best in communicating effectively with all members of your son or daughter's Special Education or 504 team, to ensure appropriate supports are provided in your child's plan in order to maximize success.
