• Vienna Project

The Vienna Project is an ongoing initiative by the Valley View Technology Department to select new devices for staff members that meet all of their needs as educators. This project began in 2014 when building Technology Coaches were asked to pilot new Dell Latitude 3440 laptops prior to district staff distribution. As older laptop models are phased out of our district, we continually seek feedback from our pilot groups in regards to device functionality, access to software and web applications, and overall user experience.

    Pilot Group
A group of 28 Building Technology Support Staff and 6 Technology Department team members will test the selected device - Dell Latitude 3480. Refer to the Device Information page for details on this laptop.

    Timeline
The next phase of the Vienna Project begins December 18, 2017, and will continue until January 19, 2018. The pilot group will be expected to use their new devices throughout the school day, and report back with detailed feedback so any changes can be made prior to district staff rollout.

Anytime you need to use your normal laptop (not the Latitude 3480) the BTSS will fill out this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc-qniyZm6znOlTQRr0CElneApg4F93DMfWzdYRxOKJ6n_E1A/viewform
