My name is Julia Bacarella, and I teach 7th grade Language Arts at Humphrey Middle School.  I am new to the Valley View School District, bringing over 10 years of teaching experience with me. 

I began my teaching career as an instructional assistant, and have since received my teaching degree from Aurora University. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Lewis University.

Along with traveling and reading, I have a passion for learning, which I hope to instill in my students. I look forward to working with your children this year, and getting to know the Humphrey community!
