!Hola! My name is Señora Samborski. I am from Carol Stream, Illinois. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Spanish Education (k-12) and from Idaho State University with a Masters' Degree in Spanish this year. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, staying active by participating in different running events, and traveling to different parts of the world to learn about other cultures and their values/traditions. I chose this profession because I believe learning a new language and/or preserving a language opens up many opportunities and helps break down communication barriers.

As a Spanish heritage speaker, I value the importance of understanding the culture, traditions, and values of Spanish-speaking countries. This is my 4th year at BHS and I am teaching Spanish Heritage I and Spanish Heritage II. I am very excited to be in the classroom and implement my own personal experiences with the Spanish language and culture.
