Hi everyone! My name is Katie Jakubowski and I have been teaching at BHS since 2020! I am the sponsor of BHS's Literary Magazine, The Raid, as well as the assistant sponsor of BHS's yearbook! I recently graduated from Illinois State University and spent the past year student teaching in Central Illinois. I currently teach English 10 and Creative Writing. My favorite part of teaching is getting to hear all of the amazing ideas from my students and having the opportunity to grow and learn together. When I'm not at school, I enjoy painting, binging Netflix, and playing with my two yellow labs! I am so excited to be a part of the BHS community and to get to meet each of you!
