BUSINESS TEACHER & BHS GAMESTERS (ESPORTS) COACH/SPONSOR

My name is Joseph Sturino and I am a Business Teacher here at Bolingbrook High School. This is my second year as a teacher and I cannot be more thrilled to be at The Brook. Before changing my career to education, I was an Accountant for two years at Wolfram Research and CCMSI Inc. and a Financial Analyst at PepsiCo. for six months. I graduated from Illinois State University with a double major in Finance and Economics.

If your student is in any of my classes, we will learn about computers, money, or both! This year I am teaching Personal Finance, Accounting, and Digital World. Personal Finance and Accounting are Dual Credit classes which means your student will receive college credits for receiving a grade of C or above.

Outside of class, you can find me spending time with my wife, Mrs. Sturino (who is in our FCS Department), gaming, or sleeping. If you are a gamer or know someone who games, have them reach out to me so they can get involved with our very new Esports program called The BHS Gamesters. We focus on all aspects of gaming and welcome any gamer at any skill level!
