Mr. Oscar Guzmán

Originally from Torreón Coahuila, México, but attended Chicago Public Schools from Pre-K to High School. I completed my undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College where I majored in Spanish and double minored in Latin American Studies and Education. I then continued my graduate studies at Stanford University where I received a Master of Arts degree in Spanish and Portuguese Language and Literature. In 2016, I received my Illinois teacher educator license and a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) Spanish K-12 from National Louis University.

I have taught all of High School Spanish from beginning Spanish 1 to Advanced Placement (AP) Spanish Language and Culture. I have also taught Spanish and Spanish Heritage Speakers at Stanford University, Malcom X College and La Salle University.
