Hola!

My name is Nicole “Nikki” Luo. I am thrilled to join the staff at Bolingbrook High School to continue my teaching career!

I graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BA in Hispanic Studies and my secondary teaching certificate in 2004 and have been a high school Spanish teacher ever since. I have returned to school twice to pursue Masters degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership. Outside of the classroom, I have been a coach (volleyball, soccer, and basketball), new teacher mentor and program coordinator, and Instructional Leadership Team leader.

My husband and sons keep me busy beyond the classroom. Together we spend a lot of time reading, doing puzzles, making crafts, traveling, and playing outside, especially basketball.  When I get some time to myself, I love to read, re-watch my favorite Disney movies, and bake.
