My name is  Ana Franco and this will be my first year at VVSD as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist at Independence and Tibbott Elementary Schools. I was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico and moved to Naperville, IL in first grade with my family. I continue to have a love for my native language, Spanish, and enjoy working with diverse students of various backgrounds. I graduated from Illinois State University (ISU)  with my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2020. I also completed my bachelor’s degree at ISU with a double major in Communication Science & Disorders and Spanish.  I spent the last two years working in Glen Ellyn D41 as an SLP with a very diverse group of students! 

I love spending time with my family, friends, and my dog (Scooby)! I look forward to working with all my students and seeing their growth throughout the year.

Mi nombre es Ana Franco y este será mi primer año en VVSD como terapista bilingüe del habla y el lenguaje en las escuelas de Independence y Tibbott. Nací en Aguascalientes, México y me mudé a Naperville, IL en primer grado con mi familia. Sigo teniendo un amor por mi lengua nativa, el español, y disfruto trabajando con estudiantes bilingües. Me gradué de Illinois State University  (ISU) con mi maestría en Patología del Habla y el Lenguaje en mayo de 2020. ¡Pasé los últimos dos años trabajando en Glen Ellyn D41 con un grupo muy diverso de estudiantes!

¡Me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia, amigos y mi perro (Scooby)! Estoy emocionada de trabajar con todos mis estudiantes y ver su crecimiento a lo largo del año.
