$4000 to be Used for Book Donation to Pioneer Students

Nick Karancevic (right), Lead Nuclear Engineer for Fauske & Assoc. presented a $4000 donation for books at Pioneer Elementary School to Pioneer Library Director Jennifer Pizzuto (left).

Lead Nuclear Engineer for Fauske & Associates Nick Karancevic secured and then delivered a generous donation of $4000 to Pioneer Elementary School that will be used to provide books to Pioneer students. Fauske & Associates is a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC.

Karancevic is also a parent of a fourth-grade student at Pioneer Elementary. Westinghouse makes these awards accessible for their employees and employees of their subsidiaries through the Westinghouse Working Parent and Caregivers Alliance which seeks to connect Westinghouse to communities through volunteerism, education, and advocacy.

Pioneer Elementary Library and Media Center Director Jennifer Pizzuto accepted the donation on behalf of Pioneer students and staff saying, “We are grateful for the support Mr. Karancevic and Westinghouse have shown by this generous donation. This donation will benefit our students and families, increasing access to books through giveaways and updating the library collection.”

The Westinghouse Working Parents and Caregivers Alliance is an Employee Resource Group at Westinghouse Electric Company designed to support employees managing caregiving responsibilities for children, parents, and other loved ones. It fosters a supportive culture focused on navigating careers alongside family needs.
