VVSD Staff Spotlight- Angie Wells, 7th Grade Math Teacher- Brooks Middle School
Brooks Middle School 7th Grade Math Teacher Angie Wells found her inspiration to become a teacher early, from her 1st grade teacher. Angie’s inspiration to become a math teacher came from her 7th grade math teacher at B.J. Ward Middle School.
Angie is a lifelong Bolingbrook resident, and did her first teaching to her classmates at Romeoville HS before formally becoming a teacher. As a math teacher, Angie teaches that while math equations have one destination, there are many paths to get there. But as a student, you have to be able to explain how your journey reached the destination.
