VVSD Staff Spotlight- Cree Thurmond, Early Childhood Teacher- Sykora EC Center

Cree Thurmond made a decade-long journey after graduating from Bolingbrook HS as a member of the Class of 2010 to find a perfect fit for her skills and professional goals.  Along the way, Cree earned degrees, learned new skills, and acquired valuable experience.

While travelling her path, Cree always seemed to come back to working in the early childhood classroom environment. The light went on that Cree’s professional place was to be an early childhood teacher, working with VVSD’s youngest learners.
