    CREDITS FOR HYBRID/REMOTE LEARNING

    All credits for 1st Semester paid transportation for the 2020-2021 school year have been posted to the student's account(s).  If you paid for the full year and your student is remaining Remote, your student's account has been issued a credit for the full year.  The student accounts for those students who have moved from Remote to Daily for 2nd Semester have been charged only 40% for 2nd semester.  Any adjustments will be applied as a credit to current or future school fees.  The student account will carry a credit balance until spent.  Any credit will carry forward into next year, in not spent in the current year.  If you would like assistance logging into your student's account please contact the technology department at 815-372-6988 or email StudentHelp@vvsd.org.

    If you would like a refund check please fill out the refund form below and return to your child's school before June 15, 2021.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for refund processing.

    The raw numbers for Transportation Services tell an impressive story. Our 250 employees transport approximately 10,000 students daily using 175 buses, driving 2.5 million miles every year covering both regular and special education routes. The students are transported to 21 in-district and 26 out-of-district schools. As impressive as the numbers are, the core of what we do centers on students and their safety. We accomplish the complicated task of transporting every student exactly where they need to be, every day, no matter the weather, traffic delays, or other obstacles.


    At Valley View Transportation, we deliver on our promise to serve the community safely and cost effectively. Concern for student safety also drives innovations. For example, Valley View was the first school district in Illinois to have integrated safety belts on each bus in all passenger seats, providing the highest level of student safety.
