VVSD Teacher Spotlight- Kelly Ogden, 3rd Grade Teacher, Jamie McGee Elementary
Part of the art of teaching, especially when it comes to teaching third graders, is to get them so engaged in a lesson activity, they don’t realize how much learning they are doing.
Come with us on a visit to Kelly Ogden’s Jamie McGee Elementary 3rd Grade classroom where the math lesson is about gathering, analyzing, and presenting data, along with collaborating to perform those tasks in a group setting. The whole lesson comes wrapped in asking classmates about some of their favorite things: sports, ice cream, and Skittles flavors!
