VVSD Class of 2022 Spotlight- Karylle Dubhe Baltazar, Romeoville HS

Karylle Dubhe Baltazar will attend the University of Illinois at Chicago next fall and study biochemistry.  More specifically, she will study neuroscience, with the goal of becoming a medical doctor.  In case you are wondering about the origin of her name, Karyelle, who was born in the Philippines, is named after Filipino singer, songwriter, actor and entrepreneur Karylle Tatlonghari.

In her valedictorian speech at commencement, Karylle reminded everyone that achievement comes in almost as many different packages as there are different students in a graduating class.
