VVSD Staff Spotlight- Nancy Droszcz and Khalida Faci, Nutrition Services Bolingbrook HS

Nancy Droszcz and Khalida Faci

Each of our VVSD schools is served (literally and figuratively), by VVSD Nutrition Services kitchen managers overseeing the operation of the school cafeteria.

At Bolingbrook HS, Nancy Droszcz is the Kitchen Manager and Khalida Faci is the Asst. Kitchen Manager.  While their backgrounds are very different, they began working in VVSD for the same reason- they wanted a work schedule that meshed with the school hours and calendars of their school age children.  Even though their kids have since grown up, Nancy and Khalida have both stayed as VVSD staff members because they enjoy working for the benefit of our current students.

No experience is necessary to apply as VVSD is offering hourly paid training toward earning an Illinois Class B-CDL driver’s license.  In addition to the competitive hourly wages, monthly and annual attendance bonuses, and affordable insurance benefits, those hired to join the VVSD team are also eligible for ten paid holidays, paid sick and personal days, a six-hour driver guarantee.  Applicants must be 21 years or age or older, must be the holder of a valid driver’s license for at least three continuous years, and must be able to pass a physical examination, drug test, and background check.
