Jamie McGee Courtyard Tree Removal Concrete Demo Ready for Concrete View From Above View from Ground Level

You may have noticed the front of Jamie McGee Elementary School looks a little bit different than it did on the Last Day of School in the Spring.

This is just one example of the hard work done by our Buildings & Grounds staff during the summer to keep our buildings up-to-date and looking great.

The top left photo is what the entract courtyard looked like in the spring when students were still in school.

The first order of business was to remove two older trees that were becoming too large for their location. Big trees have big roots that can heave ground level surfaces.  After to concrete was demolished, the site was prepared for new concrete.

The last two photos show the finished project complete with a relocated flag pole, benches, and planters for new flowers and shrubs.
